This piece of vinyl starts with FL-X (Germany) with a probably already copyrighted bass-drum and many little breaks in-between which does repeat in majority if his recent production. This is what we call own and unique sound in production world. Sort of ID. Track begins with distorted synths and rolling percussion, following by noisy break and pitched stabs which continue to follow second and third part of this track called Elocin. We had this tracks for our consideration in early 2009, so I suspect it was originally created in late 2008 and released just now. Generally well build tune - no wonder why A1.
A second track is produced by Albert Kraner (Italy) & Salva Trucha (Netherlands) which consists subtile understanding of attack/sustain/release and vocals by Missy Elliot from a track called Pass That Dutch. Generally not much happening in a track but it's interesting because of its funky attitude. A track for girls.
On a flip we have got Sepromatiq (Slovakia) who is a skilled DJ and devoted producer for a long time now. It starts with classic hardtechno beat and continues trough first part. After the break loopy vocal "keep the frequency" comes in and takes over whole mood that has been slowly building from the beginning. Second part as you suspect is full of same vocal sample which is repeating every 1 bar - quite annoying and smells old-school in my opinion. Good track for DJ who like vocals and early year schranz explosion.
The closing track is produced by Motomorfoses (Spain, originally from Brasil) - a well arranged track with arpeggiator synth that keeps the mood throughout whole track. A solid hardtechno bass-drum, many percussion that keep listeners attention to high frequency and lots of hi/low pass filtering.
In total conclusion Cannibal 028 is record of December probably only because there was no serious releases to compete with.
